Occupational Therapist

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist for our Acute Rehabilitation unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in acute care settings, particularly with experience in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
• Implement therapeutic interventions to promote independence in daily activities.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care and recovery.
• Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families on therapy techniques and rehabilitation strategies.

Schedule

This is a full-time position requiring 36-40 hours of work per week. The schedule includes four days with day shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, along with 3-4 weekend shifts over a four-week period.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
• Acute care experience is required; ICU experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
