Sterile Processing Tech (SPT)

We are seeking experienced candidates for the role of Sterile Processing Tech, with a comprehensive understanding of all areas within the department. The ideal applicants will have proficiency in the following areas:

• Decontamination of all items, including drills, Davinci systems, and scopes
• Assembly of instruments across all service lines, including trauma and loaners, as well as peel packaging
• Understanding of the sterilization process, including both Sterrad and steam methods
• High-Level Disinfection (HLD) and scope processing experience
• Experience in sterile storage management
• OR liaison responsibilities
• Experience with Censitrac tracking system
• Medivator system proficiency is required

Qualifications:

• Certification as either CBSPD or CRCST (through HSPA, formerly IAHCSMM)
• Extensive experience in a facility comparable to a Level One trauma facility is preferred

Schedule:

• Day shift, Monday to Friday, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

• WMC Garage: 24/7 access, with options including monthly and annual permits
• WB Permit: Available for 24/7 access on weekends and holidays
• CXS Permit: Access available on weekends and holidays

Note: Previous permanent staff and return travelers are not eligible for new positions within the organization. Travelers who have reached the one-year contract limit are also ineligible for extensions.
