ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled ICU Registered Nurse to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, vital signs, and responses to treatments
• Administer medications and perform necessary procedures as per protocols
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Assist in the management of complex medical equipment such as ventilators, chest tubes, and external ventricular drains
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information and care activities

Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Experience in Critical Care setting preferred
• Familiarity with CV surgery, trauma care, lab interpretation, and neurosurgery
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and in critical situations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Work Schedule

• Shifts: Mid 3×12 hours
• Weekend Requirements: 6 weekend shifts as needed by the unit

Unit Information

• Expected Patient Ratios: 1:2
• Special requirements include experience with complex clinical scenarios and lab interpretation

Dress Code

The dress code for licensed nursing personnel includes solid navy blue uniforms or scrub attire. Print tops are not allowed, except for specific units.
