Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Position Overview

We are seeking experienced Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN) / Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) for a long-term care facility. This position is ideal for professionals ready to provide high-quality care in a supportive environment.

Key Details

• Start Date: ASAP
• Shift: 4×12 variable shifts (Days or Nights, based on facility needs)
• Duration: Traveler’s choice of 26 or 13 weeks
• Patient Ratios: 1:20
• Years of Experience: Minimum of 1 year required
• Certifications Required: BLS
• Alaska Food Worker Certification: Required; obtained during orientation on-site.
• Skills Required: Long-term care experience
• Floating: Yes, within scope to meet facility needs
• RTO Restrictions: No more than 2 weeks of RTO for a 26-week contract; must be willing to work at least 2 out of 3 major winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year).
• Guaranteed Hours: 60 hours per 2 weeks, with potential call-offs for one 12-hour shift per 2 weeks.

Transportation

Shuttle transportation will be arranged to and from Anchorage at the beginning and end of the traveler’s contract, and local shuttle services are available in the area for convenience.

• Must hold an active Alaska state license.
• Previous travel experience required.
• Locals will not be accepted; candidates must have a permanent address at least 50 miles from the facility.
• Pending licenses will not be accepted.
