Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (MS RN)

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Medical Surgical Registered Nurse to join our team. This position involves providing comprehensive patient care and support in a rehabilitation facility. The role requires flexibility and the ability to float between various units as needed to meet patient care demands.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients on the medical surgical unit.
• Monitor patient conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families about health management and post-discharge care.

Work Schedule

This position involves night shifts, specifically a schedule of three 12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00. Weekend availability is required based on facility needs.

Patient Ratios

The expected nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:6 to ensure the highest level of care.

Qualifications
