Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (MS RN)

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (MS RN) to join our team. This position will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in a rehabilitation setting, ensuring optimal recovery and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered care in accordance with established nursing principles and practices.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare provider.
• Monitor patient conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement effective care plans.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and promote adherence to prescribed treatment.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Epic charting systems.

Requirements

• Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Experience in medical-surgical nursing preferred.
• Ability to float between various units as needed.
• Willingness to work weekends according to facility needs.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a patient ratio of 1:6.
• Availability to commit to 48 hours of work as approved.

Scheduling

This position includes night shifts consisting of three 12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00. Weekend shifts are required based on facility needs, but block schedules are not implemented.
