Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse for our Progressive Care Unit (PCU). This is an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where flexibility is key, and the ability to adapt to facility scheduling needs is essential.

Schedule Details

• Weekend: Every Other
• Shift: Night 3×12-Hour (19:00 – 07:30)
• Block Schedules: Not applicable

Job Requirements

• Minimum Experience: 1 year; first-time travelers are accepted
• Must be flexible to accommodate scheduling requirements
• No schedule requests will be considered or approved
• Floating within the facility may be required based on scope of practice

Compliance Requirements

To ensure on-time start dates, full compliance with all requirements is mandatory. Non-compliance may result in a delay of up to two weeks due to the bi-weekly orientation schedule.

Holiday Expectations

Travelers are expected to work during holiday periods as follows:

• If one major holiday falls within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it.
• If two major holidays fall within the assignment, the traveler must work both.
• If three major holidays occur, the traveler will be expected to work two of them.

Major holidays include:

• Memorial Day
• Independence Day
• Labor Day
• Thanksgiving/Black Friday
• Christmas Eve/Christmas Day
• New Year’s Eve/New Year’s Day

Orientation and Training

Number of Non-Billable Orientation Hours is based on contract length. For example, 8 hours for an 8-week assignment and 10 hours for a 10-week assignment.
