ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients.
• Conduct assessments, develop nursing care plans, and implement interventions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care.
• Monitor and document patient progress, modifying care as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols.
• Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and care processes.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse licensure.
• Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS).
• NIH Stroke Scale Certification (NIHSS).
• Minimum of 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience.
• Willingness to float to other units as necessary.
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.

Work Schedule

This position requires a commitment to working day shifts. Specific hours will be determined based on unit needs and staffing requirements.

Additional Information

• Staff will be expected to follow facility dress code and uniform policies.
• Parking arrangements will be communicated upon acceptance of the position.
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system experience preferred.
