Registered Nurse (RN) – Burn MedSurg

We are currently seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Burn MedSurg department. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a dynamic and specialized environment.

Job Details

• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Night 4×12-Hour (19:00 – 07:30)
• Patient Ratios: 3-4:1 (Days), 4-5:1 (Nights)
• Guaranteed Hours: Facility may call off 1 shift per every 2-week contract

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience required.
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
• Weekend requirements: Every other weekend.
• Certifications required: BLS (ACLS preferred).
• Pediatric experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Special Requirements

• 15 room, 26 bed unit.
• Patient population includes adults and pediatrics with burns, plastics, and trauma.
• Special procedures include anesthesia-assisted wound care, with dedicated support from a wound care RN during day shifts.
• EtCO2 monitoring for specific patients.
• Average daily census: 22 patients.

Parking Information

• Onsite parking: $15 per day (Monday-Friday); $4 Saturday/Sunday; $5 evenings; $4 nights.
• Offsite parking available with a 10-minute shuttle service (operational 5 am-10 pm, Monday-Friday; $10 per day).
