Job Overview

An opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Stepdown care. This position involves providing high-quality nursing care in a Critical Progressive Unit (CPU) with a focus on telemetry and advanced patient management.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Stepdown unit environment.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry results.
• Perform intravenous (IV) starts and manage IV therapies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Respond to patient needs and changes in condition promptly.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Minimum of 3 years recent experience in a Stepdown or similar care environment.
• Previous travel nursing experience is preferred.
• Experience with Cerner Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
• Must be able to work every other weekend and holiday.

Work Schedule

This position offers a night shift schedule of three 12-hour shifts each week, from 19:00 to 07:00. Flexibility in scheduling is important, and minimal to no requests for time off (RTO) are expected.

Attire

Royal blue scrubs are required for this role and will not be provided.
