Cath Lab Technologist

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in interventional cardiology and will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients within the cardiac catheterization laboratory.

Shift Details

• Shift Length: 8 or 10 hours
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Scheduling: The supervisor will make the schedule, with possible block scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Scrubbing in during procedures and monitoring patients.
• Working with a team in a fast-paced environment, handling an average of 10-15 cases per day.
• Occasional floating to other procedural areas based on census needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab setting.
• Required Certifications:
  • BLS Certification
  • ACLS Certification
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) via CCI

Additional Information

• Daily operations typically run from 7 AM to 5:30 PM, with on-call services available 24/7.
• Response time for callbacks is 30 minutes.
• Required orientation: 3 shifts of department-specific training.
• Dress Code: Scrubs will be provided.

The position is located in a fast-paced, collaborative environment within the cardiac cath lab, focusing on interventional cardiology, structural heart procedures, and peripheral vascular interventions.
