Oncology Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients in the oncology unit.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate nursing care to oncology patients.
• Assess patient conditions and implement appropriate nursing interventions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans and disease management.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in oncology nursing.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Holiday Expectations

The successful candidate must be willing to work a minimum of 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day) and 1 minor holiday (the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve).

Schedule

This position includes a variable schedule, typically from 7 AM to 5 PM.
