Occupational Therapist (OT)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team. The ideal candidate will focus on serving the medical and rehabilitation needs of individuals recovering from an illness or injury in a skilled nursing environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments to evaluate patients’ needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions to facilitate patients’ recovery and improve daily living skills.
• Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient care and outcomes.
• Participate in patient and family education regarding treatment plans and rehabilitation goals.
• Engage in a weekend rotation as needed.

Qualifications

• Active state license as an Occupational Therapist (OT).
• Experience in a skilled nursing facility is preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with DOR (Director of Rehabilitation) duties is a plus.

Work Schedule

This position is full-time, requiring 40 hours per week from Monday to Friday, with a rotation for weekend coverage as needed.
