Occupational Therapist

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Occupational Therapist to provide exceptional therapy services within a skilled nursing facility. This role involves working with patients in both short-term and long-term rehabilitation settings, as well as an assisted living facility.

Schedule

This position offers a Monday to Friday schedule with no weekend rotations, allowing for a balanced work-life experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions to support patient recovery and improve daily living skills.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including Physical Therapists and Speech-Language Pathologists.
• Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment goals and techniques.
• Stay current with advancements in occupational therapy practices and continue professional development.

Qualifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in the state of practice.
• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation settings preferred.
• Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment.
