Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Medical Physicist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Radiation Oncology, particularly with recent experience in the specialty.
Schedule
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Must be available to work 2 major holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day
- Additionally, must work 1 minor holiday: the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year’s Eve
Responsibilities
- Provide professional support and expertise in Radiation Oncology practices.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards in the operation of radiation equipment.
- Conduct quality assurance for radiation therapy equipment, specifically Varian accelerators.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans.
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Medical Physics or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Radiation Oncology.
- AHA BLS certification is required.
- Must be ABR certified or eligible.
