Position Overview

The Radiation Therapist is responsible for delivering high-quality radiation therapy treatments to patients with precision and care. This role plays a crucial part in the patient care team, ensuring that all procedures are performed safely and effectively in accordance with established protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer radiation treatment to patients, ensuring accurate delivery according to prescribed techniques.
• Monitor patient responses during treatment and document any changes in their condition.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and adjust treatment plans.
• Utilize Epic electronic health records for accurate documentation and patient management.

Qualifications

• Must have an active Radiation Therapist license in hand.
• Experience with Epic electronic health record system is required.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and provide compassionate patient care.

Work Schedule

This position operates on a day shift schedule of 5×8 hours, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Weekend and on-call work are not required.
