Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in providing comprehensive care to labor and induction patients, participating in a circulating role in the OB operating room, and managing antepartum assignments.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit.
• Assist with labor and induction procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Act as a circulating nurse in the OB operating room during deliveries.
• Support antepartum patients with appropriate nursing interventions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care outcomes.

Shifts

This position requires working three 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 12 months of permanent experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Must hold a valid permanent Ohio nursing license or a compact state license.
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, NRP, and STABLE are required at the time of application.
• Experience in ECG rhythm recognition and Safe Medicate assessments is beneficial.
• One professional reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty is required for submission.
• Experience with EPIC Stork is preferred but not required.

Additional Information

An acceptable score on ECG rhythm recognition and Safe Medicate assessments will be required during orientation.
