Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor and Delivery

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team. This position requires a strong background in nursing, particularly in labor and delivery, and involves a range of responsibilities within the maternity unit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive care to labor and induction patients.
• Assist in the OB-OR during the delivery process.
• Manage antepartum assignments effectively.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best outcomes for maternal and newborn health.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in line with protocols.

Shift Details:

This position requires availability for night shifts, specifically three 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 12 months of permanent experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
• MUST possess a valid Ohio nursing license or a Compact State license at the time of application.
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, NRP, and STABLE are required upon submission.
• One professional reference from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty within the last 12 months is mandatory.
• Familiarity with EPIC Stork is preferred but not necessary.

Additional Information:

During orientation, candidates will be required to complete an ECG rhythm recognition test and a Safe Medicate assessment, achieving an acceptable score on both evaluations.
