Registered Nurse (RN) – Telemetry

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Telemetry for a dynamic 54-bed Cardiovascular Telemetry unit. The unit is divided into three wings, each containing 18 beds, with additional patient care provided in the Overflow unit.

Work Schedule

• Night shifts: 3×12-hour shifts (19:00 – 07:00)
• Every other weekend required, including Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights
• Possible holiday shifts as scheduled

Qualifications

• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification
• Flexible scheduling is preferred

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse in this role will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients with cardiovascular conditions. Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Monitoring patients’ vital signs and telemetry readings
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborating with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Educating patients and their families on health management and disease prevention
• Responding to patient emergencies and implementing necessary interventions
