Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurses for a contract position. The ideal candidates will possess a strong background in emergency care, ensuring high-quality patient assessment and treatment within a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop care plans based on patient needs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic medical records.
• Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Kansas or multi-state.
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room experience; 4 years preferred.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications must be through AHA.
• TNCC, NIHSS, and MOAB/CPI certifications required.
• No reported violations on license or background checks.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
• Experience with Epic EMR is preferred.

Contract Details

• Length: 13 or 14 weeks.
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week.
• Weekend and holiday rotation required.
• RTO (Requested Time Off) must be kept to a minimum; only one holiday request allowed during the assignment.
