Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor and Delivery

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with expertise in Labor and Delivery to provide specialized care in the Antepartum unit. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing high-risk pregnancies and be adept at monitoring and treating patients who require closer observation before labor and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-risk antepartum care for patients requiring specialized treatment.
• Monitor and manage conditions such as high blood pressure, preeclampsia, preterm labor, vaginal bleeding, and placental issues.
• Offer support for pregnancies involving multiples or other complications.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families regarding pregnancy-related conditions and treatment options.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 months of permanent experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certification.
• Proficient in basic fetal monitoring techniques.
• Must possess a valid Ohio RN License or a Compact State RN license.

Shift Details

This position is for night shifts, consisting of three 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
