Physical Therapist

This position involves performing evaluations and treatments as a Physical Therapist in a variety of settings, including inpatient and outpatient environments. The role requires a high level of independence and a thorough approach to care for various outpatient diagnoses, as well as supporting progression in mobility from acute care to skilled nursing facility (SNF) settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct physical therapy evaluations and develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Provide in-patient care in acute and critical care settings, including the Emergency Room (ER) and Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
• Facilitate rehabilitation in skilled nursing facilities and oversee outpatient treatment in a clinic setting.
• Manage a diverse caseload of patients, typically seeing 5 to 15 patients per day.
• Engage in discharge planning and ensure comprehensive mobility progression for all patients.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver optimal patient care.

Work Schedule:

The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with a lunch break from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. There is flexibility in work hours, and Saturday shifts may occasionally be required.

Additional Requirements:

• A current Hawaii Physical Therapy license is required, to be obtained as soon as possible.
• Ability to adapt to varying work environments and patient needs.

Holiday Pay:

Holiday pay is based on hours worked during designated holidays, including New Year’s Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day.
