Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP)

Job Description

As a Speech and Language Pathologist, you will develop treatment plans aimed at enhancing swallowing, cognitive, and communication abilities while reducing the risk of aspiration. Your communication treatment strategies will not only focus on improving clarity for the individual but also support their understanding of others.

You will lead, guide, and direct the delivery of speech-language pathology services in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as established facility policies and procedures. Your role is crucial in providing appropriate care and services to residents.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for residents.
• Enhance communication abilities and improve understanding among residents.
• Ensure compliance with all regulations and facility policies.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient care.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Speech and Language Pathologist is required.
• Valid Texas License or compact agreement is required.
