Radiologic Technologist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to provide exceptional imaging services. The successful candidate will possess a strong background in Computed Tomography (CT) and will work independently to deliver quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine CT scans and additional imaging procedures as per radiologist protocols.
• Function independently without supervision while adhering to safety protocols.
• Utilize Meditech EMR, Canon/Toshiba CT units, and Vitrea workstation effectively.
• Conduct venipuncture and various imaging techniques including MIP, MPR, and 3D imaging.
• Participate in procedures such as biopsies, drainages, and vascular or cardiac imaging.
• Maintain clear communication with medical staff and patients.

Qualifications

• A current State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license as a radiographer.
• Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Computed Tomography.
• A current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in an acute hospital setting.
• Experience with trauma and stroke imaging is highly desirable.

Additional Information

• A flu vaccination or an approved medical or religious exception application must be provided prior to the contract start date.
• The successful candidate must arrive prior to the contract start date for an employee health appointment.
• No time off will be granted within the first 13 weeks of the contract.
