CT Technologist

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified CT Technologist to join our team. This position involves working Saturday and Sunday nights from 7 PM to 7:30 AM, providing essential imaging services to the emergency department and inpatients. The role requires floating to X-ray as needed and involves some patient transport responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT and X-ray imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols.
• Transport patients to and from the emergency department and inpatient units as necessary.
• Collaborate with off-site radiologists for image interpretation and consultation.
• Utilize Epic – Radiant for managing patient information and imaging records.
• Effectively communicate with the radiologists using Perfect Serve secure paging.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiography (R) and Computed Tomography (CT) required.
• BLS certification.
• Active SC Radiology license.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant imaging field.
• At least 1 year of experience with EPIC.

Additional Information

Staffing includes two technicians who are responsible for both X-ray and CT services. As a primary stroke center, maintaining high-quality patient care is essential. Scrub color for staff will be hunter green. While the priority is to maintain staff within their home unit, agency staff may be required to float to other units or campuses as necessary, limited to areas of documented competency.
