Registered Nurse (RN) – PCU/Stepdown

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our PCU/Stepdown unit. This role involves providing high-quality nursing care to patients requiring intermediate level care, specifically those with cardiac conditions.

Shift Details

• Shift: Day 3×12-Hour (07:00 – 19:00)
• Block Schedules: No
• Holiday Requirement: Candidates may choose one holiday—either Thanksgiving or Christmas—but cannot have both.

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered nursing care in the PCU/Stepdown unit.
• Monitor and manage patients on cardiac drips, with a focus on titration and management.
• Ensure comprehensive documentation of patient care using Epic charting system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must have previous experience in a stepdown or PCU unit.
• Cardiac drip experience, including titration and management, is a mandatory requirement.
• Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
