Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team for an ongoing role focused on providing high-quality care in a long-term care environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in long-term care and a passion for helping patients achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Responsibilities

• Assist occupational therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients.
• Support patients in daily living activities to promote independence and quality of life.
• Document patient progress and report changes to supervising occupational therapists.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic processes and strategies.

Qualifications

• National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification.
• Current state license as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Experience in long-term care settings is preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Work Schedule

This position requires an 8-hour workday with flexible scheduling, Monday through Friday. Candidates must be available to work five days a week.
