Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Radiographer to join our team. The Radiographer will work within the Interventional Radiology department, providing high-quality imaging services and supporting a variety of procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate imaging equipment and perform diagnostic procedures with professionalism and expertise.
• Ensure adherence to sterile techniques and safety protocols during procedures.
• Maintain patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process.
• Collaborate with medical staff to support interventional procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation and manage equipment effectively.

• Department: Interventional Radiology
• Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics
• Number of Beds: 5 Exam Rooms and 1 Specials Room
• Equipment: GE, Innova
• EHR: Cerner

Qualifications

• Required Certifications: ARRT Registry
• Minimum Years of Experience: 2
• Essential Skills: Basic Life Support (BLS), Radiology techniques, ability to operate equipment, and scrub for various interventional radiology procedures.
• Preferred Skills: Experience in peripheral interventions, biopsies, venous and arterial thrombolysis, EVARs, and drainage procedures.
• Education: ARRT or equivalent required.

Work Environment

This position will typically involve 8-hour day shifts, with flexibility in starting times. Weekend hours will be on a call basis as scheduled.

Additional Requirements

Willingness to float to the Interventional Pain Clinic is required. Candidates must demonstrate adaptability and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.

Dress Code

Scrubs will be provided by the hospital. Standard surgical attire is required while on duty.
