Surgery Radiologic Technologist

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Surgery Radiologic Technologist to join our team. This position requires expertise in performing radiologic procedures in a surgical environment utilizing C-arm technology. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiologic procedures in the operating room using C-arm equipment.
• Work collaboratively with surgical teams to ensure the safety and comfort of patients during procedures.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of radiologic practices and protocols.
• Assist in the preparation and operation of radiologic imaging devices.
• Ensure quality control measures are adhered to in all imaging processes.
• Document procedures and patient information accurately in the EMR.
• Participate in required on-call rotations as necessary.

Qualifications

• Current ARRT certification.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• TMB certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in surgery or a similar environment.
• Proficiency in using C-arm technology.
• Strong communication skills and teamwork orientation.
• Ability to adapt to floating between different departments or locations if necessary.

Additional Information

Scrubs will be provided for this position. The role may require working in various locations within the region. A maximum of three days of requested time off is permissible, with a blackout period during Christmas.
