Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor and Birth

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) with expertise in Labor and Birth for a night shift position. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting that supports a high volume of deliveries.

• Shift: Nights, 3×12, 1900-0700
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Hours: As required by the facility
• Call Requirements: None
• Float Requirements: May be required to float to postpartum

Required Certifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• C-EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)

Experience and Skills

• Minimum of 2 years of labor experience in a hospital performing 350-400 deliveries per month.
• Preferred certifications include ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support).

Unit Information

• Number of Beds: 15 labor beds, 7 antepartum, and 4 pre/postpartum beds
• Patient Ratios: 1:1 or 2:1, based on estimates
• Equipment: External fetal monitoring devices
• EMR System: EPIC
