Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – L&D

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Travel Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Labor and Delivery (L&D) to join our team for a 13-week assignment. This position requires availability for night shifts and adherence to a rotating weekend schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to expectant mothers during labor and delivery.
• Monitor and assess the condition of patients before, during, and after delivery.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to create individualized care plans.
• Perform necessary medical procedures and interventions as required.
• Educate patients and families about childbirth and postpartum care.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for patient care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN).
• Active registered nursing license in Arkansas or a multistate compact license.
• Current certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
• Experience in postpartum care is preferred.

Schedule Requirements

• Night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM.
• Every other weekend is required.
• Call shifts may be required two times during the scheduled period.

Additional Information

• Please note that floating to other units may be required based on staffing needs.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) is preferred.
• Dress code will be professional, with specific scrub colors as dictated by facility standards.
• Parking information will be provided upon acceptance of the position.
