Registered Nurse (RN) Wound Care

Job Description

The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing comprehensive care to Wound/Ostomy Care patients by applying the Nursing Process in alignment with state regulations and hospital policies. This role requires demonstrating critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership to ensure the safe delivery of care.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care and ensure adherence to the Nursing Process.
• Demonstrate critical thinking and scientific judgment in patient care planning.
• Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education and training.
• Delegate patient care priorities based on the education and experience of available staff.
• Provide direction and supervision to staff involved in patient care delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a Wound Care RN in a hospital setting.
• CWOCN certification required.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Active Registered Nurse license in California.

Work Schedule

Shifts will primarily be Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 4 PM.
