ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and the ability to provide high-quality care in a critical environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU setting.
• Monitor vital signs and symptoms, administer medications, and perform treatments as required.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Ensure compliance with all hospital policies and procedures.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Float to Telemetry units as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience.
• Current ACLS certification is required.
• Cerner experience is preferred.
• Experience with open-heart surgery and Impella devices is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule

This position requires night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, including every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH).

• Number of beds in the unit: 20
• Patient ratio: 2:1, with a surge plan of 3:1
• Scrub color: Navy
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system: Cerner

Additional Information

• Blocked scheduling may be considered.
• Maximum request time off (RTO): 3 days.
