Acute Travel Registered Nurse (RN): PCU

Position Information:

• Specialty: TELE/PCU – Cardiac
• Shift: 7 PM – 7 AM
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend, based on unit staffing needs
• Call Requirements: None
• Required Certifications: BLS
• Experience: 2+ years preferred; will provide PCA class if interested
• Float Requirements: Not typically floated, may float to 1:1s as needed

• Patient Ratios: RN 1:5, NA 10-12 (days), 20-22 (nights)
• Equipment: Pacer Alines
• EHR: EPIC
• Supervisor: Lisa Dean
• Patient Population: Cardiac geriatric

• Must Have Skills/Experience: Cardiac experience
• Common Diagnosis/Treatment: Chest Pain, Myocardial Infarction, Open Heart Surgery, Watchman Procedure, TAVR, Postoperative Cardiac Catheterization, Postoperative Pacer Care
• Personality Fit: Positive attitude
• Required Education: RN, BLS
