Stepdown Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Information

Role: RN
Specialty: Step Down
Number of Openings: 2
Shift: Days, 3 x 12 hours
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
Assignment Length: 13 weeks
Weekend Hours: Rotating every other week
Call Requirements: Not specified

Qualifications

Required Licensure: Current RN License (eligible for licensure in Missouri or currently licensed in Missouri)
Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS
Years of Experience: 1+ years in stepdown
Float Requirements: As needed

Unit Information

Type of Patients on Unit: Neuro Medical Surgical

Additional Information

Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care while maintaining professional accountability. Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers and coordinates patient care with other departments. Upholds patient rights as well as confidentiality of patient information, and performs all duties in accordance with mission, values, and service standards. Required education is a current RN license.
