Registered Nurse (RN) / Labor & Delivery

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Labor and Delivery to join our team. This position requires providing comprehensive care during the antepartum, intrapatum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases for patients in Labor and Delivery.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and institutional policies.
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment to ensure safe delivery of care.
• Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education and professional development.
• Delegate patient care priorities based on the education and experience of available staff.
• Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel involved in patient care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, NRP, and STABLE.

Work Details

This position involves day shifts, starting at 6:30 AM and ending at 7:00 PM, with the requirement to float to other units as needed.
