Travel Med Surg/Tele Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Travel Med Surg/Tele Registered Nurse to join our team. This position is responsible for providing high-quality patient care in both Medical Surgical and Telemetry settings. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and be adaptable to the dynamic needs of the unit.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in both Med Surg and Tele departments.
• Monitor patient conditions remotely through telemetry systems.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Assure compliance with safety standards and protocols.
• Float between Med Surg and Tele units based on unit needs.
• Participate in the education and support of patients and their families.

Shift Information

This position requires night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, including every other weekend and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an acute care setting required.
• Recent experience in Med Surg and Telemetry nursing is essential.
• BLS certification is required.
• Recent Cerner charting experience is preferred.
• A minimum of 2 completed travel assignments is required.

The schedule for this position will vary based on the needs of the unit. Candidates should be flexible and prepared to float between departments as necessary.
