Registered Nurse (RN) – Telemetry

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Resource Pool team, primarily allocated to the telemetry unit. The role includes potential floating to various locations as needed to meet facility demands.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in a telemetry setting.
• Adhere to established policies and procedures while maintaining compliance with safety standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Monitor patient conditions and record relevant information for medical teams.
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience; candidates with at least 1 year of experience may be considered.
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS.
• Must be able to pass arrhythmia and medication tests on the first day of work.

Position Requirements

• Availability for two on-call shifts or two additional shifts per six weeks.
• Floating within scope to meet facility needs is expected.
• Must be willing to work weekends as required.
• Compliance with attendance policy is mandatory, with contract review after excessive missed shifts.
• All requested time off (RTO) must be included in the initial submission.
• Pending licenses are accepted, providing the license is secured before starting the position.
• Shaving may be required for passing the fit test onsite.
