Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN). This position requires a compassionate and dedicated professional to provide exceptional patient care in a challenging and rewarding environment.

Shift and Schedule

• Schedule: 3 shifts of 12 hours per week (Nights: 18:00-06:30)
• Weekend Requirement: Minimum of 3 weekends over a 6-week period
• Call-in Expectation: Required to pick up an additional shift if a call-in occurs
• Maximum 5 days of requested time off (RTO), with no RTO during Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year’s holidays

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of Med/Surg experience required
• PALS certification is mandatory prior to starting, as the unit admits pediatric patients
• Certifications Required: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS

Additional Information

• Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week
• Patient Ratios: 1:5
• Floating: May float to other units based on hospital needs
• Local travelers accepted if residing within a 50-mile radius, with a rate differential for local travelers
• Preferred experience: Ambulatory and Medical-Surgical experience
• Charting System: Meditech
• Scrub Color: Any professional color
