CT Technologist

Job Details

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team. This position requires working the night shift for 10-hour periods, with a guaranteed 40 hours per week.

Unit Information

• Unit Type: CT (Computed Tomography)
• Device Configuration: 2 Scanners (Siemens Sensation 64 & GE 16 Light Speed)
• Ratios: 10-20 scans per shift, with evenings being the busiest times.
• Electronic Medical Records: Cerner & McKesson PACS

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in CT technology
• Required Certifications:
  • ARRT (CT)
  • ARRT (R)
  • BLS Certification
  • Crisis Protocol Approved
  • Fluoroscopy Certification
• Active California license required

Shift Details

• Shift Length: 10 hours
• Working Holidays: Same hours as weekends, subject to rotation
• Scrub Color: Teal

Additional Information

• Radiologists are not available 24/7; Nighthawk will provide coverage during night shifts.
• Floating responsibilities will include radiology as needed.
• Floor-specific orientation will consist of 3-4 shifts.
• Common diagnoses/types of patients include ER patients, Virtual Colonography, gated procedures, and general CT experience.
