CT Technologist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join our team in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing computed tomography (CT) scans while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct 30-40+ CT scans per 12-hour shift.
• Work independently and efficiently in a dynamic environment.
• May be required to transport patients based on staffing needs.
• Participate in self-scheduling based on seniority and unit needs.
• Be available for voluntary shifts, including night and graveyard shifts, as needed.
• Work 3 out of 5 major holidays during the year.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and operational procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a community hospital setting.
• Certifications required: BLS, ARRT, ARRT Advanced, California CRT, CT.
• Proficient with GE and Toshiba imaging equipment.
• Must be flexible with working weekends, potentially exceeding every other weekend to meet unit needs.
• No floating between units is required.

Work Schedule

Shifts are available as follows:

• Day shifts: 3×12-hour shifts, either from 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM or 8:00 AM – 8:30 PM.

Additional Information

Parking is free for all staff. The facility uses Epic for charting. Guaranteed hours vary, as the facility may call off once every two-week pay period.
