A rewarding opportunity is available in a Newborn Nursery for an experienced Registered Nurse. This position requires a strong background in neonatal care, specifically within a NICU Level 2 environment.

Job Details

• Unit: Special Newborn Nursery
• Unit Type: Newborn Nursery (NBN)
• Shift Length: 12 hours
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shift Times: 0600-1830, 1800-0630

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Special Care Nursery (SCN) or NICU environment preferred.
• Required Certifications:
  • BLS (American Heart Association)
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
  • STABLE certification
• Experience in a level II SCN setting is necessary.

About the Unit

The Newborn Nursery accommodates 8 Level II SCN beds and handles approximately 800 births per year. There is available support from NNP and Neonatology professionals 24/7.
