Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery to provide exceptional care in a supportive and nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about maternal and newborn health and committed to delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients during labor and delivery, including assessment, education, and emotional support.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs, interpreting data to manage patient care effectively.
• Assist in labor management procedures and delivery, ensuring a safe and positive experience for mothers and their families.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and families on postpartum care, infant care, and breastfeeding support.
• Document patient care activities accurately and promptly in accordance with policies and regulatory standards.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and assist in critical situations with confidence and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
• Experience in Labor and Delivery nursing is highly desirable.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a collaborative, high-paced environment.

Schedule

• Shift: Night shift, 4×12-hour schedule (19:00 – 07:00).
• Possible consideration for a 36-hour work week.
