Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Labor & Delivery team. This position is ideal for those with a strong background in labor and delivery nursing, committed to providing high-quality care to expecting mothers and their newborns.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients during labor and delivery, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal health throughout the labor process.
• Assist with GYN patients and various procedures as required.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized care plans.
• Utilize electronic health record systems for documentation and patient management.

Unit Information

• Number of Beds: 8
• Patient Ratios: Per AWHONN Standards

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery nursing.
• Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification is required.
• Associates degree in nursing (ADN) or higher.
