Travel Nursery/L&D Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Newborn Nursery and Labor & Delivery for a travel position. The ideal candidate will possess the necessary skills and certifications to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess the health status of newborns and mothers.
• Provide care for patients throughout the labor and delivery process.
• Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) for documentation and patient management.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure the best outcomes for mothers and infants.
• Administer medications and treatments as necessary.

Qualifications

• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a mother/baby setting.
• Ability to float to other units as needed.
• Valid nursing license; willingness to review candidates with pending state licenses may be considered.
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.

Schedule

This position requires night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a commitment to a duration of 13 weeks.
