Outpatient Infusion Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a highly skilled Outpatient Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. This position requires expertise in administering chemotherapy and other infusion therapies to patients, with a strong focus on providing excellent care to adult and geriatric populations.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy and a variety of intravenous therapies to patients in an outpatient setting.
• Utilize advanced technology and equipment including EPIC, Omnicell, Ascom, glucometer, Alaris pumps, and elastomeric pumps.
• Conduct patient assessments and closely monitor vital signs and symptoms during treatments.
• Participate in patient education to ensure understanding of treatment protocols and self-care practices.
• Manage blood product administration and provide support in a fast-paced environment.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols for chemotherapy administration.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Chemo Certified.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• Minimum of one year of experience in outpatient infusion.
• Ability to float to other units as needed.
