Registered Nurse (RN) Infusion

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for our Outpatient Infusion Center. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in oncology nursing and be proficient in administering intravenous treatments to a diverse patient population.

Schedule

• Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy and hazardous drugs safely and effectively.
• Provide central line care and management.
• Perform implanted port access and blood product administration.
• Conduct peripheral IV placement and use advanced equipment such as Plum IV Pumps and CADD Pumps.
• Utilize Dinamap for monitoring patient vitals during treatments.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the infusion specialty.
• Current AHA BLS certification required.
• Chemotherapy certification preferred, ONS certification is advantageous.
• Experience with Cerner electronic health records is preferred.

Equipment and Special Procedures

This role requires familiarity with special procedures and equipment used in the infusion center, including:

• Chemotherapy/Hazardous drug administration
• Central line care and management
• Peripheral IV placement
