Registered Nurse (RN)

Shift Information

This position is for a 3×12 NIGHTS schedule (non-negotiable). The contract spans 13 weeks, with a high likelihood of extensions. Candidates must be available to work night shifts only.

Requirements

• Must have and maintain current licensure in the State of Rhode Island.
• CPR and any other necessary credentials or certifications to ensure competency as a Registered Nurse in a specialized area.
• Proficiency in the English language.
• Flu and COVID-19 vaccinations are required, with potential exemptions subject to approval (which may take weeks) that could affect contract duration.

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse will provide nursing care to patients while collaborating with their families, ensuring adherence to the American Nurse’s Association Standards of Professional Nursing Practice. Key responsibilities include:

• Primary nursing care provision for patients.
• Assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of patient care processes.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
• Completion of required skills checklists and competency exams during onboarding.
• Successful completion of a criminal background check.
• Two professional references are required.
