Medical-Surgical Nurse

Job Description

This position involves working on the medical-surgical floor of a healthcare facility with a total of 25 beds. The nurse will provide comprehensive care to patients with a variety of medical conditions, ensuring their comfort and recovery during their hospital stay.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered nursing care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the medical team.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and report any significant changes to the medical team.
• Educate patients and their families on health management, disease prevention, and lifestyle modifications.
• Document all patient interactions and care in compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies.
• Ensure a safe and hygienic environment for patients and staff.

Qualifications

• Current nursing license required.
• Experience in a medical-surgical setting is preferred.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
