Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description:

The Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic environment. This role involves working with adult patients and addressing a variety of diagnoses, including:

• Post-Surgical Care
• Abdominal Pain
• Cholelithiasis
• Osteoarthritis
• Fractures
• Back Pain
• Morbid Obesity (Bariatric Surgery)

Shift Information:

Shift will be from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM with block scheduling not guaranteed. Floating between units may be required.

Unit Specifics:

The successful candidate will utilize specialty equipment, including:

• IV Pumps
• N/G Tubes
• Feeding Tubes

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in Medical-Surgical nursing
• Current AHA BLS certification
• Active NY License and all active RN licenses verified through NURSYS report
• Experience with EMR systems, particularly EPIC

Additional Requirements:

Travel experience is required. Candidates must provide their current address on their driver’s license to confirm demographic compatibility.
